Target Field Postponed Game Policy

June 26 Game vs. Indians

The Saturday, June 26, 1:10 p.m. game against the Cleveland Indians has been postponed due to inclement weather and will be made up as part of a split doubleheader on Tuesday, September 14. The first game will be the makeup of today’s game and will start at 1:10 p.m., followed by the regularly-scheduled game at 6:40 p.m. Per Major League Baseball rules for the 2021 season, both games of the September 14 doubleheader will be seven-inning contests.

Fans holding tickets purchased directly from the Minnesota Twins to today’s postponed game have the following options:

  1. Utilize their tickets for admission into the rescheduled game.
  2. Utilize their ticket toward any future Twins regular season game in 2021 (subject to ticket availability). All exchanges must be made at least 24 hours before the rescheduled game.
  3. Tickets for the postponed game are not subject to refunds.
  4. Tickets purchased from a secondary ticket reseller will be good for the makeup game only.
  5. Complimentary tickets are valid for the makeup game only.

Target Field Postponed Game Policy

In the event a regulation game, as defined by Major League Baseball (i.e. 4 1/2 innings if the Twins are ahead and five full innings if the visiting team is ahead or the game is tied), is not played due to weather, an act of God or any other reason, the following policies will apply:

The game will be:

  • A. Rescheduled to an open day*
  • B. Rescheduled to a split doubleheader**

If a game is rescheduled to a split doubleheader**

  • Suites, Thomson Reuters Champions Club, Delta SKY360° Club and Budweiser Roof Deck
    Due to their limited capacity, tickets in the Suites, Thomson Reuters Champions Club, Delta SKY360° Club and Budweiser Roof Deck will be valid only for the rescheduled game. Tickets for the postponed game are not subject to refunds.
  • Season, Group and Single-Game Tickets
    Tickets are valid for the rescheduled game. Season, Group and Single-Game ticket holders should utilize their tickets from the postponed game for admission into the rescheduled game.

    Fans can exchange their unused ticket for any future Twins regular season game in 2021 (subject to ticket availability). All exchanges must be made at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled makeup game.

Season, group and single-game tickets for the remainder of the 2021 season at Target Field are available via the MLB Ballpark App, at twinsbaseball.com, by calling 612-33-TWINS (612-338-9467) or 800-33-TWINS (800-338-9467), or in-person at the Target Field Ticket Office.


April 12 Game vs. Red Sox

The Monday, April 12 postponed contest will be made up on Wednesday, April 14, as part of a straight doubleheader.

The first game of April 14’s doubleheader will be the regularly scheduled 1:10 p.m. CT contest, with the second (the makeup of the April 12 game) beginning approximately 30 minutes after the first game ends. Per Major League Baseball rules for the 2021 season, both games of tomorrow’s doubleheader will be seven-inning contests.

Fans holding tickets for April 14’s originally-scheduled 1:10 p.m. game will receive admission to both games of the straight doubleheader. Tickets remain available and can be purchased online.

Twins Season Ticket Holders with tickets for April 12’s postponed game will receive credit back on their account. Single-game buyers holding tickets purchased directly from the Minnesota Twins for April 12’s postponed contest will also receive credit, which can be used for a future 2021 home game. Additionally, those fans holding tickets for April 12’s postponed game will receive two complimentary tickets to a future weekday (Monday-Thursday) value or select home game during the 2021 season (April 12’s ticket holders will receive further communication directly from the Twins).

Tickets that have been purchased from a secondary market reseller cannot be refunded by the Twins. Fans holding tickets that have been purchased through a secondary ticket reseller must consult that reseller for ticket information.
