Target Field Tours

During your guided 90-minute tour to Target Field, you'll see areas of the ballpark many guests normally don't see. These spaces may include the Herb Carneal Press Box, suite level, Truly On Deck Bar & Grill, Delta SKY360 Club, Budweiser Roof Deck*, as well as many other interesting areas of the ballpark. Guests will be exposed to the art work, displays of memorabilia, environmental and sustainability features of Target Field, as well as Twins history. All public and private tours are wheelchair accessible, with complimentary wheelchairs available upon request. Specific tour routes are established each day based on events and activities in the ballpark. Therefore, all sites on the tour are subject to current availability. Public and Private Tour availability is subject to cancellation due to large events that may be taking place at the ballpark (i.e. concerts, amateur baseball, etc.).

*For health and safety reasons, guides are temporarily restricted from touring the following areas until further notice: clubhouses, dugouts, and areas in the service level.

Public Tours

Public Tours are limited to a maximum of 25 guests per group and up to four groups per time slot.

GAME DAY (STARTING JULY 5) AND NON-GAME DAY PUBLIC TOURS

All Tours begin at Gate 29 on 7th Street near the Twins Clubhouse Store. Tours are approximately 90 minutes in length. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes, as tours may cover a distance of approximately one mile.

Tours will be given twice a day at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Public Tour tickets* are available for purchase online below and during the week at the ticket windows near Gate 29.

*Season Ticket Holders can receive a $5 discount for public tour tickets. This is only available by calling 612-33-TWINS to purchase public tour tickets.

Public and Private Tour availability is subject to cancellation due to large events that may be taking place at the ballpark (i.e. concerts, amateur baseball, etc.).

Bag Policy

Single-compartment bags (maximum size of 16”x16”x8”) are allowed into Target Field. These include purses, clutch purses, single-compartment tote bags, clear bags, drawstring bags, diaper bags, single-compartment soft-sided coolers, fanny packs and medically-necessary items. Backpacks, multi-compartment laptop bags, duffel bags or any bags over the size requirement are not allowed into the ballpark. To expedite entry into Target Field, the Twins recommend that guests come without bags whenever possible.

PREGAME EXPERIENCE TOUR (Starting July 5th)

The Pregame Experience Tour gives you the rare opportunity to witness the game day preparations of Target Field! This behind-the-scenes tour culminates with the opportunity to view (when possible) pre-game activities from the lower seating bowl! Tour guests may also receive official game notes for that evening's game, and game day promotional item.

Tours begin at Gate 29 on 7th Street near the Clubhouse Store. See the below table for Pregame Experience Tour start times. Please note, Pregame Experience Tours may be limited or canceled due to weather or scheduling changes.

Pregame Experience Tours do not include visits to the visitor's clubhouse, field, and dugout areas. Specific tour routes are established each day based on events and activities in the ballpark, therefore all sites on the tour are subject to current availability. Please note that batting practice is taken at the Manager's discretion and is not guaranteed as part of this tour. During tours guests are not allowed to interfere with on field activities (no autographs).

The tour will conclude before the gates open for that day's game and guests with tickets for the game will be allowed to immediately re-enter.

Tour tickets are available online or at the Target Field box office, and are limited in quantity.

April - September (Regular Season or Select Games Only)
Monday - Thursday (6:40 pm game time) Tour starts at 3:00 p.m.
Monday - Thursday (7 p.m. game time) Tour starts at 3:30 p.m.
Friday (7 p.m. game time) Tour starts at 3:00 p.m.
Saturday (6 p.m. game time) Tour starts at 2:00 p.m.

How to Buy

Due to the popularity of the ballpark tours, advance ticket purchases are strongly recommended.

Private Tours

To provide the best safest experience for our guests, private tours are limited to a maximum of 25 guests per group and up to four groups at one time. limited basis.

Private tours can be scheduled on select non-game days, and reservations must be made at least two weeks in advance.

VIP Tours

Due to safety precautions in the ballpark, VIP Tours are TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED.

What better way to impress that important customer, client or special someone than by taking them on a VIP tour of Target Field!

This extended, two-hour VIP Tour features a behind-the-scenes look at the ballpark, as well as stops at exclusive areas, including the Twins clubhouse (home clubhouse available during offseason tours only).

The VIP Tour can be customized to suit you and your guests' special interests. VIP tours accommodate up to five guests, and each group receives a complimentary book about Target Field and a signed commemorative baseball.

Tours are wheelchair accessible, and complimentary wheelchairs are available upon request.
