Baseball is back, Downtown Minneapolis is proudly open for business, and the Minnesota Twins are thrilled to safely welcome our fans into Target Field for the 2021 season!
Target Field is now open at up to 80% capacity; beginning on July 5, the ballpark will have full, 100 percent capacity for the Twins’ final 40 regular season home games of 2021.
All guests at Target Field are encouraged, but NOT required, to wear face coverings while in the ballpark, except when actively eating or drinking.
Outside food (except sunflower seeds, which remain prohibited) and single-compartment bags (maximum size of 16”x16”x8”) are now allowed into Target Field (these include purses, clutch purses, single-compartment tote bags, clear bags, drawstring bags, single-compartment, soft-sided coolers, fanny packs and medically-necessary items). Backpacks, multi-compartment laptop bags, duffel bags or any bags over the size requirement are not allowed into the ballpark. To expedite entry into Target Field, the Twins recommend that guests come without bags whenever possible.
The Twins, working closely with our public and private partners, are focused on welcoming our guests, players and staff to a safe game day experience at Target Field.
Please see below for more information regarding Downtown Minneapolis; getting to and from the ballpark; and enhanced health and safety policies and procedures that adhere to the current requirements and guidelines established by Major League Baseball (MLB), the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) and the Minneapolis Health Department (MHD).
Minneapolis is proudly open for business. The Minnesota Twins, together with our city, community and law enforcement partners, are working to deliver a safe, secure and welcoming environment in Downtown Minneapolis and at Target Field throughout the 2021 season.
The Minnesota Twins know that game day means more than the action on the field; it is the entire driveway-to-driveway experience. The Twins and our partners are dedicated to giving our fans a safe, quality baseball experience.
The Twins have implemented technology enhancements, gate modifications, and health and safety measures in accordance with CDC, MDH and MHD guidelines to provide for an expedited, contactless entry into Target Field.
