Thank you to everyone who shared a Fan Face to help fill our seats this season and support the Minnesota Twins Community Fund. As a reminder, each individual Fan Face will be authenticated and returned to fans as a keepsake.
To provide an update, we are starting the process of taking down the Fan Faces this week as well as preparing for their eventual pickup, by you the fans! We appreciate your patience during every step of the Fan Face process and are hoping to provide an additional update in the coming weeks.
Can more than 1 person be in the photo?
Only one face per Fan Face cutout. Photos with multiple people will not be accepted.
Can I submit a photo of my pet?
Yes! Pet photos are permitted if they comply with the Fan Face photo submissions guidelines and criteria.
How will I know if the photo I upload is accepted?
You will be contacted if your photo does NOT meet submission guidelines. See our photo submissions guidelines for tips on submitting the best photo.
Will I be able to see my cutout in the broadcast?
It might be possible, but we cannot guarantee it. With restrictions on cameras/crew this season, game broadcasts will be utilizing the same game feed instead of each team having their own. Therefore, the video must be balanced for both the home and road teams. With most of the shots being of the game and players, “crowd” shots won’t be featured as much as they normally would.
Where will my cut out be placed?
Fan Face Cutouts will be randomly placed in a lower-level seat, along either the first or third base sides at Target Field. There is no guarantee which area your cutout will be placed or what seat. Due to the large quantity of cutouts we are processing and placing, we are unable to tell you where your cutout will be located.
If I buy one for each member of my family, will we be placed next to each other?
There is no guarantee that your cutouts will be placed next to each other.
When will my cutout be in the seat?
Fan Face Cutouts will be installed in waves beginning with the start of the Twins’ second homestand on Aug. 14. Fan Face cutouts are placed at random based on when you submit your purchase. Cutouts will be placed as certain thresholds of purchases are sent to the printer. Once we have the product in hand, we will place the cutouts as quickly as possible. Please note that delays may be faced due to COVID-19 concerns. Our goal is to have the cutouts printed and installed as soon as possible.
Can I keep my cutout at the end of the season?
Yes! You will be able to pick up your official MLB authenticated Fan Face cutout at the conclusion of the season. Details about pick up will be communicated after the 2020 season. Fan Face cutouts cannot be mailed.
What if my cutout gets damaged?
If a cutout gets damaged, we will do our best to have it replaced in a timely fashion. The Twins reserve the right to decide what constitutes a damaged cutout. Twins cannot guarantee the condition of your cutout after exposure to weather, outdoor elements, and balls leaving the playing field, as such a faded image or a dent from a ball, will not result in a replaced cutout.
What if the season gets cancelled?
All approved purchases for Twins Fan Face cutouts are final and in no event shall such payments be refunded for any reason, including but not limited to the delay, suspension, or early termination of the 2020 MLB Season.
When will I be able to see my cutouts in the stands?
To see photos of cutouts installed, please visit the photo gallery below. Please note we are still in the process of installing all Fan Faces. If you do not see yourself in the current photos, there is a good chance your Fan Face is on its way and will soon be added into the stands. We expect to have all Fan Faces installed by Aug 30 with photos updated shortly after that. If you do not see your Fan Face after the final photos are posted, please reach out. However, we ask that you help us by carefully reviewing the photos as best as possible before following up.
My Fan Face is blocked, is there anything I can do?
We’re doing our best to photographically capture each section from an angle that allows each Fan Face to be seen but due to restricted areas in the stadium for player safely this sometimes makes it challenging. Photography aside, each Fan Face enjoys spacious elbow room with two vacant seats next to them!
Why does the image on my Fan Face look so crummy?
When enlarging faces to 2.5’ from photos, some pixelation/blurriness may happen. To help fans submit the best photos to be enlarged, we provided photo submission guidelines to make it easier to know what photos worked best. If you submitted a photo below those size/resolution recommendations that would account for the pixelation in the Fan Face printed.
